I was wondering if there is any way to customise the search results page for this theme (ie: when you use the search function, the layout of the page that lists the search results).
I have had a look around and though there are good options to customise the search icon itself, I can't find anything for this particular page.
For example. I'd like to add a header image, insert an excerpt of the page that contains the search results (rather than only the title displaying) and remove the users name (ie: "posted by admin). Is there any way to do this?
However the other changes and layout needs to be done in the search.php file in the root of the theme.
Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept any custom work at the moment, because we primarily need to focus on providing Theme Support to all customers. We hope you understand.
In case you are not familiar with programming, you could hire someone to do this for you.

to remove the author you can achieve with custom css, just paste it in the Elated Options > General > Custom CSS.
