I bought FLOW this morning for my portfolio. I uploaded it, activated it, and my site crashed, with this message :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/pascalmazv/www/wp-content/themes/flow/framework/lib/eltd.layout.inc on line 2830
But Updraft Plus is my friend ;) so I could back up all my stuff. Then I re-downloaded the WP file from Envato, thinking the first one was corrupted. So I uploaded it, but didn't activate Flow, I just made a preview and the message appeared again. I also tried with and without Visual Composer (which was formerly installed), but the result is still that scary message.
Problem is simple, you have to contact your hosting support, and to tell them to increase server PHP version to version 5.4. Please, notice that required version by WP https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ - PHP 7
Best Regards!
