    I am attempting to display code in posts using the following snippet but it is still being displayed as regular text

    [code language=”css”]

    #button {
    font-weight: bold;
    border: 2px solid #fff;
    }[/code]

    [code language=”objc”]

    //comments 

    [/code]


    According to WordPress, it should work

    For anyone else who might have this question, I ended up using this plugin, there are plenty of plugins out there but this did the trick for me.
