    Hello there,

One Listing can't be part of multiple List Types. However one listing can be part of multiple Listing Categories, so Listing Categories is further differentiation of List Type. It means that you can set just one Listing Type for one Listing and multiple Listing Categories for each Listing.

Also, if there is anything else you need help with, please let me know.

    Thanks.

    OK.
    For example:

The Company "The Lion's Den" have "Clubs" as Listing Type and "Restaurants" and "Bars" as Listing Categories.

The user will see all Clubs on the homepage
, he use the search button 'All Categories' and click in the list on "Clubs" and the Company "The Lion's Den" is displayed in the listing.

If he want to see all Restaurants on the homepage, he use the search button 'All Categories' and click in the list on "Restaurants" but the Company "The Lion's Den" is not displayed in the listing!?

    How can I solve it?
    Thank you very much

    Hello there,

You need to make Listing Type more general, so one Listing can not be member of multiple Listing Types, as shown in our demo. That means Listing type is first level of differentiation. Further level of differentiation inside Listing Type is choosing Listing Category.

Search button 'All Categories' searches Listing Types, not Listing categories, so if you choose "Restaurant" as you mentioned it will not work since "Restaurant" is not Listing Type, it is Listing Categories.

So general tip is to take a look at our demo and there you can see pretty good example of Listing Type/Listing Categories and try to reorganize your Listing Types/Categories.

You can see how we organize listing categories as sub menu items in the main menu https://www.screencast.com/t/BSbDIlfoBOdW. To be clear, as we mentioned you can not search by listing categories via search bar. You can only achieve that if you use listing categories in the menu.

If you still have trouble with this issue, please let me know.

    Thanks.
