Hi, I'm testing the site as a regular user and there are a few questions coming now.

    1. There is no specific role for the customers. So any registered user being a customer or not stays as a subscriber. So no way to target only your customers.

    2. How to check the subscription status of a user?

    3. When I register and go to "Submit new Listing" I'm getting this https://cl.ly/0O0O3k0Z3h26

    4. Is there a way to create a Package that could remain unpublished until is ready? I mean, I don't want the package to be on the list (selectable) until I have the pricetables, info, promotions, etc, ready.

    Regards, Luis.

    Hi there Luis,

    1) Can you please be more specific and precise, regarding difference between customer and subscriber, for what intentions you need to differentiate them.

    2) Just go to Users > All Users and there are listed all users with it's role https://www.screencast.com/t/21NxTccRE.

    3) We need to take closer look to issue you presented and expect feedback from our side soon.

    4) It is possible just while in back end of the Package creation please do not publish it, just click Save Draft button on the right https://www.screencast.com/t/A49FOUxxH5k.

    @Dario

If you have question regarding theme issue, please submit your own ticket and please avoid writing in someone's other ticket.

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

    1) When a user registers to the site the default role is subscriber right? https://cl.ly/2v1s3D050y0X
When that user opts for posting a new listing they have to buy one of the available packages and then pay. Ok, at that point this user starts being a customer in the eyes of the owner of the site. Those customers need to get an invoice so here comes my question, how do you differentiate "Subscribers" from "Subscribers that paid for the listing service AKA Customers"

    2) I know how wordpress works and without a specific role for customers that list is useless. Even more, how can I know what users have an active subscription (let's say they paid for 30 days listing)?
How can I target those users to trigger for example an email campaign?
There is no way for me to check who needs to be invoiced this month and who doesn't unless I write down a list as the payments get in via PayPal.

    3) If there is anything I can do to speed up this just let me know.

    4) Ok

    Regards, Luis.

    Hi Luis,

You can manage to differentiate them using Listings, if he posted listing he is displayed inside All Listing under author field https://www.screencast.com/t/Nczw9cgyO and you can see their Listing Package by going into back-end of the listing and scrolling down to Listing Package. If he hasn't posted listing he will not be displayed there.

    Thanks.

By clicking on the username will give me a list of the published ads for that user, that's ok but that's not what I'm asking for. How can I know which users have an active subscription? What package did they pay for? When is it expiring?

These are important things to know, things like which packages are more popular, or to make a/b testing, or to know the monthly average paid users, recurring vs new customers.. just to name few..

Clients will be asking for their invoices and there is no way for me to check if they really paid for, let's say, the current month.

As I see there is no control at all on the backend to know how the business is going. When you say "Fully Integrated Listing Functionality – No additional plugins required" customers are waiting for that.

Don't take me wrong, you did a lot of work and the theme looks really nice but it's making me work much more than I expected because there is no business control for the admin. I don't mind to tweak everything up, but that lets me out for the theme updates for example.

Please let me know if I'm missing something..

    Regards, Luis.

    Hello Luis,

By default, when user sign up he gets the Subscriber role, however in order to submit a new listing he needs to have Owner role, which admin needs to approve for him.

When it comes to control you can check that from owners profile to see which Package he bought and which listings he submitted.

We hope this was helpful, and feel free to ask for further assistance.

    Thanks.

    Hello there,

That's right, with only one suggestion, you need to change his role manually to owner in order to be able to post listing in that package. Also we will consider changing role when it comes to who can submit listing and for all future changes you will be informed so you can act according to them.

When it comes to managing paid users, you can go directly into All Listings and there find listings from desired publisher, such as in this screenshot with sample test listing and sample user https://www.screencast.com/t/hQoYlconx4Y, and you can check what is his package just go to back-end of desired Listing and scroll down to Elated Listing > Listing Package and in that field is displayed Listing Package to which is assigned desired Listing https://www.screencast.com/t/mnzJjb8BUOL.

Please let us know if this was helpful.

    Thanks.
