I have a real quick question. Is there a way to customize the social share functionality. We use Access Press Social for our social media accounts like the demo, but would like to keep the theme's sharing.
We've look around and found where newsroom_elated_get_social_share_html(array('type' => $type)) is included in the blog/templates/parts/post-info folder, but not the construction of the function.
Can you tell us where it is and if there is a filter/action to hook into it? We'd like to change the long url to short urls. We have a YOURLS custom url shortener and vanity url that we previously used.
Maybe even add a "via @" after if possible. We used to have a custom plugin that did that in our prior theme, but the_content filter was for Genesis Framework and doesn't work on this theme.
The function you mentioned is placed inside wp-content\themes\newsroom\framework\modules\shortcodes\socialshare folder in the file named social-share-functions.php
but since this function just executes eltd_social_share shortcode you need to make changes to that shortcode, which is placed in file wp-content\themes\newsroom\framework\modules\shortcodes\socialshare\social-share.php

Done! Gave it 5 stars because it deserves it. The only suggestion I would give is to give the option to only load certain font assets. Speed matters. We only use font awesome, for instance. Worth thinking about.

You can disable some of the iconic fonts manually by changing theme files, open folder wp-content\themes\newsroom\framework\lib\eltd.icons and file named eltd.icons.php and there comment or delete iconic font adding lines marked in next screenshot
This should disable all other fonts apart from Font Awesome.

Hello there,
The function you mentioned is placed inside wp-content\themes\newsroom\framework\modules\shortcodes\socialshare folder in the file named social-share-functions.php
but since this function just executes eltd_social_share shortcode you need to make changes to that shortcode, which is placed in file wp-content\themes\newsroom\framework\modules\shortcodes\socialshare\social-share.php
