Visual Composer - Disable Row
Closed

    Hi there,

    Having imported the demo content for the theme, I now want to disable some rows on the homepage. However, when I tick the "Disable Row" box in Visual Composer on the homepage, and 'Update' I still see all of the rows. I tried installing the WP Super Cache plugin, but that didn't seem to work properly so uninstalled it again. I have also cleared my browser cache - no difference!

    How can I make this work so most demo content that uses Visual Composer elements, is disabled - and not deleted.

    Many thanks,

    Sean

    Hi again,

    Not sure if this is related but I have just noticed that WPBakery Visual Composer plugin has an update. However, it is not updating as I apparently have no license and that I should buy a direct license. Did this not come with the purchase of the Creator theme from Envato?

    Thanks,

    Sean

    Hello Sean,

    Thank you for choosing our theme.

    We are sorry for the late response.

    We bought extended license for these plugins (Visual Composer and Rev Slider), and we have included these plugins in our theme (you can find plugins in theme folder/plugins/ there are installation files of these plugins), also we will update these plugins to the latest version with theme update so you just need to wait for next theme update and there will be the latest version of plugins if it exists.
    More about bundled plugins can be found on this link https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins?_ga=2.245886596.1068361229.1494855372-1438803025.1429707923 .

    So there is no issue with Visual Composer version, the issue is related to that functionality that is not applying. We need to take closer look to that issue with our developer team and a workaround, in the meantime can be that you for each row you do not want to be displayed in the front-end and still keep it in back-end assign row class by clicking on it's settings

    For instance assign them class: invisible-row . After you do that just paste following Custom Css code into Elated Options > General > Custom Css field

    .invisible-row{
    display: none!important;
    }

    So, add this code once in Elated Options > General > Custom Css field

    and for each row you want to hide just add this class invisible-row to it and if you want to show it, just remove that class from desired row.

    We hope this was helpful, and expect feedback from our side regarding Disable Row issue.

    Thank you for understanding and patience.

    Thanks you. That's great. Yes, this interim approach seems to work fine.
