    Hi there,

We purchased the Moose theme in part because we saw the blog with slider feed and wanted to use it. But when we look for that template, it's not included. We see the other blog templates (standard, masonry, vertical loop) but not the one we need.

Can you please tell us how to get this template?

    Thank you!

    Teresa

    Hello Teresa,

You are referring to the Blog templates, which is a way to preview blogs, but you can also preview your blog posts using Blog elements integrated in Visual Composer.  Just in the back-end of the page click Add Element https://www.screencast.com/t/jyU7MUi7tb2l and there choose one of the following blog elements https://www.screencast.com/t/DHweDLxJ and there you have plenty of other settings that you can set in the setting of these elements.

For the page you have sent us it is actually Blog Slider.

Please let us know if this was helpful and if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Thanks.

I see, so I use the standard blog template but add a blog slider to the top of it?  It was confusing as I copied the demo and brought over the blog slider page, but there was nothing in it, so I couldn't tell how it was built in the demo link I sent you. I'll give this a try and see how it goes.

    Thanks!

    Hello again,

Actually, to achieve such layout, please create a sample page where you will create desired blog slider and than just change to Classic editor https://www.screencast.com/t/P1QG6tu9z and shortcode will appear https://www.screencast.com/t/P1QG6tu9z just copy it and go to desired page you want this slider to appear above content, scroll down to LayerSlider or Elated Slider shortcode and pate in that field previously copied shortcode https://www.screencast.com/t/YqVALqZzoL .

Please let us know if this was more clear and if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Thanks.
