Dummy Text Appearing on Blog Page

The blog page is not pulling any text from the post, it is just displaying dummy text. I can't find where to change the preview text manually, so I'm not sure if it is supposed to pull the text from the post automatically or where to change that.

Nevermind, I found the solution. To anyone who is wondering you need to manually turn on the visibility of the "Excerpt" field. You do this by clicking "edit" on a post, clicking "Screen Options" at the top right, next to help, and selecting "excerpt". I have NO IDEA why this is not a default setting as it is the only way to get your blog to display properly if you use any visual composer (vc) shortcodes/elements in a post. If you don't use any VC code on a post page, I think it will automatically pull an excerpt of the post into the preview shown on your main blog page.

PLEASE add this to your documentation (which is very short, it could use more information), if you aren't able to make 'excerpt' fields appear by default in your next update (which you should). Your blog post templates from the demo import use VC shortcodes, so you shouldn't assume that we are adding them in as an advanced feature. It creates an immediate usability issue that doesn't need to exist.
