    Hello,

Thank you for writing in. There were some changes in Api key functionality, so this issue is present only in the back-end of the Listing. Also please note that rest of the site functionalities will not be affected. Theme update, with improved Api key functionality, will be released very soon, in next couple of days, and the issue in the back-end will be solved with it.

However, if you want to completely remove Google Maps functionality, just open this file and there comment/delete marked part of the code from next screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/fjgDmvHtv0JX .

Please let us know if this was helpful and if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Thanks.

Guys, please I need your help. I launched a big commercial project with Search and Go theme. It`s probably version 1.7, anyway, God bless you or you will get anything in your life happen as you need if you help me. A few days ago Google maps stopped working, so I was really shocked and started to check all forums and themes online. After 12 hours of searching (as I am not a programmer) I found a solution and in functions.php changed my new own created Google Map API instead of the old (and I hope common) one, and than enabled all APIs in google console, so after that I could see Google maps working on the front end of the website. I thought it was solved, but after I tried to add a new listing item, an error occurred in listing backend and address field with all other Google maps fields were just with a mistake of InvalidKeyMapError. So, please please, tell me all the places in the Search and Go theme where you have any pieces of code that sets a behavior of backend listing inside. It is obviously should be in theme documentation as well. So I found 1 place is functions.php, another place is skin.php, and WHERE ELSE did you put that google maps code to replace it with my new own created one? Help :D

I need a piece of code which defines a behavior of listing address and all backend data when a new listing is creating. Could you give me any Ideas of how to fix this in Search and Go 1.7 version without theme update? Than must be easy, just now it is not so obviously where did you put that code.

  • Denys replied

If to be more clear, we need to find a place in theme codes and Locate the file that contains the Google Maps script code on listing backend  that append an API key to it as a parameter

  • Denys replied

or any way to solve this problem without updating or reinstalling the theme please :D

Guys please name of file and piece of the code where behavior of backend google map custom fields defines.....

  • Denys replied

Hey, get to work, I found a solution. Just enter ftp and Edit api google maps in file /wp-content/themes/search-and-go/framework/admin/skins/elated/skin.php

Oh my God. Fuck ////.... . :D Your support is quite slow but theme is a great work

    Hello there,

@Denys Thank you for writing in, can you please avoid writing in someone else's ticket and for each issue please create your own ticket. We hope you understand. However, yes, this is the place where key needs to be changed but we are about to release theme update to cover that and include there using of the map api key that is set in the back-end in Elated Options. We are sorry for delay, but for some reason we did not received this ticket as older that a day, probably because you have updating it so ticksy got confused.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please feel free to submit your own ticket and we will gladly assist.

Once again thank you for understanding.
