What I am saying is that the translation is not applied. I already translated the eltd-core plugin (from the eltd-core.pot file) that contains the category text for a single portfolio item, but the translation is now applied to the website...
Let me know what other info you might need to better understand my issue.

If you go to the above link you can see that for a category text is not being translated to my site language.
The code for this is in categories.php under eltd-core\post-types\portfolio\templates\single\parts

It appears like another bug.

I am sorry, I am not clear on what you try to achieve. If you want to change some theme label, note that theme labels can be changed (or translated to your language) with some plugin for translation such as Loco translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ and here is beginners guide https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners

further proof that the translation is in place but no visible in the website
This will get replaced every time the theme/plugin is updated.
