I just bought the Koto theme and I was struggling to figure out how to edit the pages that are built with Visual Composer. I looked at the Documentation for Koto theme but there are little details to how the page was built.
I need to know whether I need to purchase the Visual Composer license to build the pages or does the Kota theme comes with it.
We have bought the extended licence for premium plugins that come with our theme (Visual Composer, Layer and Revolution slider), so that you can use them for free without buying the licence, and we can’t give you the license code because of policy and terms of Theme Forest. This only means that you can not update the plugins automatically, but you need to wait for the update which will be included in latest theme updates, as soon as the new version of plugins becomes available.
And to answer your question: No, you don't need to purchase any additional items.

Thanks for the reply. Is the theme not compatible with wordpress 4.8.3? And how do I update the latest theme? It shows an error whenever I try doing it.
