    Hello!


    As you surely are aware, Wordpress 4.9 creates some issues with WP Bakery Visual Composer. My host provider updated it and all hell broke loose, meaning we lost access to the backend. 

    All in all, we've been lucky, because our frontend is working properly, but we cannot edit or add any content. This is a problem, because we add content on a daily basis, and it's been 24 hours already. 

    So, what shall we do? Will you provide an update to the theme? Should we try to get it from WP Bakery? Or could we just remove the plugin from the "plugins" directory for the time being?

    I should add that, as I don't have access to the backend (because of the plugin problem) I cannot autoupdate Visual Composer, so it will have to be the old-fashioned FTP way. What should I do?

    Hi! 

    I'm afraid it's not working. I deleted the plugin, I still couldn't login through Dashboard, so I uploaded it through FTP. 

    The frontend is working as usual, as it did before, but Dashboard continues to be down. Any thoughts?

    Hi there again,

    I've just tested out our theme with newest version of Visual Composer and newest version of WordPress and everything works fine.

    Something must have went wrong with installation of WP and thus you are not able to login to dashboard.

    You can try disabling our theme, by renaming it through FTP and see if the issue is connected with the theme or not.

    Just adding that we needed that update to the plugin but, after that, it was another plugin the one causing the issue. Thanks a lot, this issue is closed.
