I originally built my site on a different URL, using the Savory theme. Last week I moved all of my files from this subdomain back to christine-havens.com, my main website. The original subdomain no longer exists and I'm now having issues activating the Savory theme on christine-havens.com. When I try to activate it or the child theme, it crashes the entire site.
I'm also getting the following error message log from my server: [27-Nov-2017 18:25:49] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home3/hristmg9/public_html/wp-content/themes/savory/framework/lib/eltd.layout-part2.php on line 1290
If you are seeing one of following errors T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM or unexpected '[':
You need to contact hosting service provider, and to ask them to increase server PHP version according to WP requirements: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
PHP 7, or at least to PHP 5.6 would be needed. The error you are getting is because the current PHP version is below version 5.3.
Theme will probably work with PHP 5.4 but some plugins may require higher versions of PHP like for example WooCommerce https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/ so if it is possible it is always advisable to follow WordPress recommendations.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Excellent, increasing the PHP has definitely solved the problem. The migration of the website I built on a subdomain did not go totally smoothly. I'm now getting a 404 Error Page whenever I try to access a post from the main drop down menu or when I try to view posts generally. Is there a way that I can fix this?

Any thoughts?

Hi there,
Unfortunately this is not something that we specialize in and it's outside of our support jurisdiction.
But here is a helpful article that you can take a look at:
Please have a look at this article as it covers how to properly migrate from local to a live server: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-from-local-server-to-live-site/
