    Hi, I'm getting errors when installing Bjorn on the latest Wordpress 4.9.2

    Wordpress is a clean installation with no other plugins or themes installed or activated.

    I installed the bjorn.zip and bjorn-child.zip and activated the bjorn-child.zip

    During install, I get the following errror:

    Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-bulk-upgrader-skin.php on line 150

    When I activate the plugins for the first time I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_url() on null in /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/template.class.php:136 Stack trace: #0 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/admin/revslider-admin.class.php(112): RevSliderTemplate->_get_template_list() #1 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/admin/revslider-admin.class.php(44): RevSliderAdmin->init() #2 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/revslider.php(168): RevSliderAdmin->__construct('/home/thewenot/...') #3 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(555): include_once('/home/thewenot/...') #4 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(747): activate_plugin('revslider/revsl...', '', false, false) #5 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/themes/bjorn/includes/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(3025): activate_plugins(Array) #6 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/themes/bjorn/includes/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(3073): TGMPA_List in /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/template.class.php on line 136

    When I try to activate the plugins again I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_url() on null in /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/object-library.class.php:62 Stack trace: #0 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/admin/revslider-admin.class.php(118): RevSliderObjectLibrary->_get_list() #1 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/admin/revslider-admin.class.php(44): RevSliderAdmin->init() #2 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/revslider.php(168): RevSliderAdmin->__construct('/home/thewenot/...') #3 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(555): include_once('/home/thewenot/...') #4 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(747): activate_plugin('revslider/revsl...', '', false, false) #5 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/themes/bjorn/includes/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(3025): activate_plugins(Array) #6 /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/themes/bjorn/includes/plugins/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php(3073): TGMPA_Lis in /home/thewenot/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/object-library.class.php on line 62

    Please could you fix these errors during installation and send or update the bjorn.zip and bjorn-child.zip files? I'd be happy to provide more info if needed.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing in.

    It is possible that you're having this issue because of low server resource settings.

    Could you please try to increase these values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.

    max_execution_time = 300
    memory_limit = 128M
    upload_max_filesize = 128M
    post_max_size = 256M
    max_input_vars = 3000

    Also, please make sure your server is using PHP version that is at least 5.5, but not 7.1, so between 5.5 and 7. Just contact your server hosting and let ask them to do this for you.

    Please let us know if this solved the issue and if there is anything else we can do for you.

    If the problem persists, please provide us wp-admin credentials (in Private Reply) so we can take a closer look.

    Thanks for doing that. Did you activate the plugins one by one? When I tried to activate them all at the same time I got the errors I mentioned.

    I'm just curious as to why I was getting those errors or how to avoid them in case I need to re-install my Wordpress installation?

    Thanks

    Ali

    Hello,

    I'm not sure, but I think that I've activated them one by one.

    Regarding the warnings, you shouldn't worry about that (it won't affect the performance of the website). You should be able to disable it by setting the WP debug function to false, you can read more about it here: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG , or contact your hosting provider and ask them to disable Warnings display.
