That is because you need to install required plugins as box at the top of WordPress back end is showing. Elated core plugin is required for theme options and functionalities so I went ahead and installed the theme and all suggested plugins, and all options are listed now https://www.screencast.com/t/l5TQkLxrn

1. You can deactivate Top Bar area in Elated Options >> Header >>
2. Unfortunately there is no predefined option to change alignment of Header menu navigation. That can be done with some custom coding. Also, you can move your Logo image only with some custom coding.
3. You can go to create some test page >> add some desired VC shortcodes (text, links...) and then switch to Classic Mode >> copy entire code >> and then go to Appearance >> Widgets >> sidebar >> Text widget and paste this code.
4. It is possible that something has not been installed/adjusted correctly. Or it can be that some custom css is causing this issue.
