I bought this theme 2 days ago and posted my issue with no reply from the author yet. I'm hoping to see if anyone had this same issue?

Import Type of "content" fails at 90%.
Following the demo import instructions, I've had no success importing demo content. I opened google console after I clicked import. I get an error: "failed to load resources: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
file reported in google console: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
As we have already said in your previous ticket >> https://elated.ticksy.com/ticket/1474423/ we checked this in your back-end and as you can see in the following screenshot it seems like you are having this issue because of low server settings resources >>
Could you please try to increase these (MASTER) values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.
* Please note that this is not theme related issue, but server related.
After you do this, you can try to import the demo or just let us know and we will try to import the demo for you. We're waiting for your response, thanks!
