Portfolio features and settings

I have implemented the Tamashi theme and set up the structure of the site I want, but am having trouble ingesting assets and content into the portfolio fields and features provided.

I have started using the the custom portfolio 4 template as a basis but it is unclear how the features and settings in the admin panel relate to the front end display of this portfolio post. This post seems to have no content added within the fields and all settings set to default. See attached.

The main body of the post only displays in text or visual (slightly stylised version of the text) and does not present drag and drop or grid based options for creating structure to the page. See the attached screen grabs.

Is this how the portfolio post features are supposed to display in the admin panel? If so, is there some documentation that helps to show how each of the fields and media settings affects the front end display as it is currently very unclear.

    Thank you
    Ben

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing in.

Please note that you need to enable WP Bakery PB for posts or portfolio items in WP Bakery Page Builder >> Role Manager >> Post Types >> Custom >> and then check the box portfolio_item.

Then you can go to alter some desired portfolio item and create your own layout using VC shortcodes.

Please note that you can  use Portfolio Type with some predefined layout and style for Portfolio single page or you can try to create your own layout using Visual Composer (WP Bakery PB) shortcodes (add images, text, rows/columns...).

Please take a look a our documentation here >> http://tamashi.elated-themes.com/documentation/ maybe that can be helpful  your you, as well.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!
