    Hi. I use images gallery in a few pages. But for a few days I can't add any images, or create a new gallery. Can you help ? 

    (gallery works well in the blog article)

    Hello there,

    PHP resources

    Since WordPress themes get more robust and complex, it's necessary that you release some more power from server. You can do that by editing php.ini file that you can find on your server, or contact your hosting service to do this for you. 

    Make sure you meet these requrements:

    max_execution_time = 300;
    memory_limit = 128M;
    upload_max_filesize = 128M;
    post_max_size = 256M;
    

    PHP version

    You should also make sure PHP version on your server is updated. 

    5.6 will do the job, but you may use 7 as well.

    Also, it is possible that something has not been installed/adjusted correctly, or it can be that some 3rd party plugin causes this issue.

    Try to deactivate all of your plugins to make sure they are not causing this issue. If the issue goes away, then you can enable them one by one to find out which one is causing the issue. If you still have issues after you have deactivated all of your plugins, please provide a temporary admin login and URL to your site and I’ll take a look.

    Check these and if the problem is still there, let us know, and if you still have this problem give us WordPress admin access and share a link to a page with issue so we can check this on your end.

    Hello 

    Thank you for your help. I contacted my hosting service and they edited the file as required. Also Php 7. I deactivated all plugins but the problem is still there...

    Right now when we try to add gallery images, we can't add larger amount like 16 for example, because of WordPress core error https://www.screencast.com/t/ItuPeDsP , but if we try to add 3 by 3 to gallery then you should manage to add items to gallery like we did in an example on this page http://sybilrondeau.com/gallery-test-page/

    Also, ask hosting support about that error to see if it is something related to SSL configuration or something else.

    I don't understand, because when I wan't to add only one image to that gallery : https://sybilrondeau.com/recompenses/ I can't. I choose the picture, then it freeze and nothing happens. I tried already as I said before to deactivate all plugins it's not that, the issue is still here when all plugins are deactivated.

    Hello there,

    In this video we have recorded action of adding images to the gallery. https://www.screencast.com/t/9lArghxVl Here is working just fine. If you encounter issue again when adding images to existing gallery you will certainly see error which we have mentioned earlier so try adding image with Chrome browser developer console open (keyboard F12). If you encounter that error then please disabling all plugins as we already suggested and also try to contact hosting support since we can't replicate same kind of error in our testing environment.

    I know it's working on the test page. But it doesn't work on the "recompenses" page. :-(. I told you three time already I did try to deactivate all the plugins and it's not that, they don't cause the issue. I'll contact my hosting support now.
