Hello! I created a portfolio website with the Vakker theme. I have the menu attached to the side of the website. When the site is opened on a computer and the browser isn't completely open the logo thats in the menu side bar expands and is stuck on top of the elements on my website. This goes for mobile use as well expect it is always blocking the elements on the screen. Also on the Blog page before you read more into the post there are yellow elements I can't seem to override in the css. Specifically the date (05) on the blog and the 'read more' option. Any help you can give me is extremely helpful! thank you :)
ps: I've taken my logos completely off the website since it is live and wanted people to be able to view my work.

Yea! I fixed the logo problem but I took the blog off since the website was live and I didn't want to leave it up if it wasn't working right. http://katecarruthers.ca/blog/ is the link to the blog page where the 'read more' and the date (april) is turning yellow. I've also discovered that I can click on the April and it will take me to another page that shows my posts in that month. http://katecarruthers.ca/2018/00/ Not sure how to edit that page either.
another quick thing is on that blog page I've turned off the comments but there is still 3 comments showing the details section under that main photo. Not sure where those three are or how to take them off if I've already turned off the comments section
