First off, Thank you for creating this theme. It is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. I have a question however. I spent all day today creating a new logo for my business. I uploaded it just fine however, I couldn't find anything in the documentation on what size images work best with this theme. None the less, when I uploaded the image into the theme as the logo, it is appearing very very small. I even resized it to huge dimensions. 1024 x 1024 and it still appears small. I played around in the Elated Options and was able to increase the size of the actual header area which gives enough space for a bigger image, yet, when I refreshed, the image still remains very tiny.

I do not know much about coding but I am assuming that there is something, maybe a code of some sort thats making my logo image default to that small size.

I want to be clear in this email: not only did I upload a huge image, but I also made sure that in the media section of wordpress, I set the defaults to image size large heath and width. Still the super tiny logo.

Is there any way you can help me with this. I know you guys do not do customization. I am not asking you to do it for me. I just want to know if maybe there is a size limit you guys placed on the logo and if so, is there a way I can overwrite it or change it? Do you have any suggestions?

My website is under a maintenance page right now as I do not want anyone to access it while I am rebranding. However, I am attaching a picture of my actual logo and also what it looks like on the site so you can see what I mean. If you want or need to actually see it, then please respond back with that request and I can quickly take down the maintenance page.

    So to recap:

1.) Is there a size limit you guys placed on the logo and if so, how do I get rid of that?

2.) What image size works best with the theme?

Again, attached below are the photos showing my actual logo and what it looks like on the site.

I really do appreciate any help, guidance or references you can send me to fix and/or change this.

    Faith and Favor,

    Gladys Higgins

Are you guys seeing this? I tried sending a personal message ticket 2 days ago. Is there another way to get into contact for a bit of help. Please let me know, thank you.

    Hello there,

    1. The way logo dimensions work:

Maximum logo height is determined by the header height option in Theme Options > Header.

As for the logo image itself, because of retina displays, image dimensions are being divided by 2. So if you upload the logo that is 100x100, the actual dimensions on desktop will be 50x50.

In case you want a logo that is 100x100, you need to upload an image that is 200x200, and set the header height to 100.

    2. As for the proper size of images, you can inspect our demo and see the image sizes we've used. But you can use any size as you wish I would assume.

Thank you so much, I do have a follow up question:

I have done what you said but its still not working. So to explain exactly what I did:

When you say theme option>header, I am assuming you meant Elated Options plugin>Header as I don't see anything that says theme option.

when I clicked header, I scrolled down to see header height.

For example, I have a logo that I uploaded at 600x600

by what you told me, it will display as 300X300 due to the retina display

for header height I placed in 600

when I saved, it still was super tiny but tons of header space.

    am I doing something wrong?

Thank you your response. I really appreciate it.

    Hello,

We tried to check this on your website, but since maintenance mode is enabled we were unable to inspect this. Could you please provide us with your site url and wp-admin credentials, so we can take a closer look.

    Hi,

Unfortunately your logo image has still 1200x1200px https://www.screencast.com/t/xed92DwXp. Could you please try to resize your logo and then upload again. Thanks

Try to upload logo image with for example 500x500px dimensions.

    Best Regards,

    Sasha
