    I cannot find the Import option in the 'Elated Options' in the wordPress Dashboard. It was there but has now disappeared!

    Please can you advise?

    Okay, I have managed to import all the data, (i said 100% imported) and all the pages and media library have come across however none of the pages are displaying anything. Could you take a look at the site and advise why this is? It can be viewed at https://cherylhoweld.com/arun

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Please note that after installing / activating this theme, you need to Install/activate all required plugins (+Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce if you plan to use shop). 

    Then you can import the demo with our OneClick (Elated Options >> Import) or with native WP importer tool (Tools >> Import >> WordPress) via XML, located in the file you downloaded from ThemeForest website / XML.

    If you  import the demo via XML, note that you need to import Options and Widgets, after that in Elated Options >> Import


    Then you can go to Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage setting >> and then choose desired homepage.

    Before that, please check your server resource settings. Check/increase these values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.

    max_execution_time = 300
memory_limit = 128M
upload_max_filesize = 128M
post_max_size = 256M
max_input_vars = 3000

    You can use this plugin in order to check it >> https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    After you do this, you can try to import the demo or just let us know and we will try to import the demo for you. 

    Also, note that when importing a demo onto your site RevSlider slideshow has to be imported separately. To import a RevSlider slideshow from one of our demos please go to your WordPress admin panel Slider Revolution -> Import. Search for some-home-slider-X.zip located in the file you downloaded from Theme Forest / xml export folder and import that demo’s slideshow.

    Import is not working for me. i have added lines to php.ini. installed all required plugins. pressed F12 and selected 'console' tab. after i import i see not red lines or error in console window. import goes quick to 100% with no errors and says import complete in green. after all this i get nothing. no listing. no demo media. no demo pages.... theme is still blank. i dont' knwo why it is so hard to import demo data on this theme... any help...?

    Hi again,


    I have now managed to import the demo content, and I am now trying to get the Big Slider portfolio (Thrill ride in the demo) working. it is appearing as a blank page without the Header & site navigation menu and I am at a loss to sort it out. Should a working version of this have been included in the demo download?

    I have tried to work out how to get it working by reading the manual which came with the theme and by searching your support articles but can find nothing that describes step by step instructions so that I can find out why it isn't working.

    As we can see, menu item is redirecting to our demo page. Please check link set to that menu item in Appearance > Menus (change it to URL of your page) and check if this page exist in Portfolio items list.
