    Hello,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Please note that after installing / activating this theme, you need to Install/activate all required plugins (+Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce if you plan to use shop).

    Then you can import the demo with our OneClick (Elated Options >> Import) or with native WP importer tool (Tools >> Import >> WordPress) via XML, located in the file you downloaded from ThemeForest website / XML.

    If you  import the demo via XML, note that you need to import Options and Widgets, after that in Elated Options >> Import

    Then you can go to Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage setting >> and then choose desired homepage.

    Before that, please check your server resource settings. Check/increase these values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.

    max_execution_time = 300
    memory_limit = 128M
    upload_max_filesize = 128M
    post_max_size = 256M
    max_input_vars = 3000

    You can use this plugin in order to check it >> https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    After you do this, you can try to import the demo or just let us know and we will try to import the demo for you.

    Also, note that when importing a demo onto your site RevSlider slideshow has to be imported separately. To import a RevSlider slideshow from one of our demos please go to your WordPress admin panel Slider Revolution -> Import. Search for some-home-slider-X.zip located in the file you downloaded from Theme Forest / xml export folder and import that demo’s slideshow.

    Also, you can follow these guidelines on how to import the demo >>

    Complete Guide To Demo Import

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Thank you,
    Jerry

    Is there any way I can start over? I was finally able to upload the theme and load the demo xml to 100%. However, the menu is showing duplicates as I had tried loading the demo many times because it wouldn't get to 100% – it always stopped at 90%. I am trying to delete the excess menus from Appearance > Menus but Wordpress keeps timing out. I've wasted over 2 hours trying to delete them. I am very frustrated and so is my client... I am way behind schedule because of all of the problems I have dealt with. What should I do? How can I start over and still use the theme?

    Hello there Joe,

    With every demo import comes a new set of menus, when imported our demo data several times.

    This is no big deal and you can simply remove extra menu items with this helpful plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-remove-menu-item/

    It will create an "x" sign next to your menu items, so you can easily delete them with one click.

    There is no need to start over, just install this plugin and delete this menu items.

    Let us know if you need any help!

    Best regards,

    Marie
