    I need to add gifs to my portfolio and when I add them as images wordpress breaks the gif so that it doesn't loop. I need to embed the gifs in that part of the portfolio page to work around that, but there isn't bakery on the portfolio pages, or any way that I can see to add html besides in the area that is where the title and description of project are. Please advise. thanks!

    Hello there,

    You will have to turn on editing with WPBakery on portfolio pages. Go to WPBakery > Role Manager and choose Custom post type and select Portfolio item:

    We also tested this on our demo and it gifs are working properly:

    As you can see in this video: https://www.screencast.com/t/sscqL6WOIEWB

    If you still have some issues with this, let us know!

    Best regards,

    Marie

    Ok thanks! Some gifs seem to work, others that are longer do not loop no matter what I do or how small I export the file. I think is a wordpress issue not an issue with your theme though because I've had the problem on multiple sites :) Something to do with WP changing the dimensions.

    Hi there,

    That is interesting. Can you send us URL and admin credentials so we can take a look and try to test it on our side? Thanks!

    Also, send it in private reply.

    Best regards,

    Marie

    I'm building the site on my server so I can't send login, but I was able to embed the gifs by enabling bakery on portfolio posts like you suggested, so thanks for that!

    There is a work around for adding gifs into posts on wordpress, but I haven't found a way to have them functional when part of a theme gallery. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks for the help though!

    I have another question about the portfolio pages (sorry!) I'd like to disable the fullscreen option on the lightbox, I feel like its generally where the X(close) button is so may be clicked accidentally, and once you hit fullscreen its not super intuitive how to get out of it. I cant find any way to edit the lightbox features though...

    Hi there,

    Try to paste it in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .pp_content_container .pp_fade a.pp_expand {
        display:  none!important;
    }

    Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Best regards,

    Marie
