    Hi There,

How do I setup payment and registration for any course? This course is free but I'd like people to register for it to be able to view content.

What is the best way to do that?

    1. Add to Cart

    2. View Cart

    3. Complete purchase

    4. Login into the course

    5. See and interact with others who've also purchased the course

    6. How do I remove Reviews from the course? (since it's a brand new course?)

    7. How can I encourage registered students to rate the course?

    8. Activate Members section for the course

    9. Activate Forum section for the course

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi there,

You will have to set up WooCommerce pages in WooCommerce > Settings:

So when you press View cart will lead you to the cart page and so on.

When you set that up, you will have to login if you want to watch course anyway.

You can remove reviews with this CSS but that would mean that you will have to delete this code when you want your customers to see the reviews:

    li.reviews_tab.ui-state-default.ui-corner-top {
        display: none!important;
    }

Paste it in that course backend in here:

Note that, you will have to turn on WPBakery editor for courses pages in WPBakery > Role manager and set up post type to be custom and check Course:

Can you explain us little bit better what did you mean with active members and forum?

    Best regards,

    Marie

    Thanks for your help.

I setup WooCommerce like you suggested.

    1. I created a course - http://www.academy.socialstrategi.com/index.php/course/how-to-use-facebook-ads-to-drive-traffic-to-brick-and-mortar-stores/

    2. Next, I also created a product for the course: http://www.academy.socialstrategi.com/index.php/product/facebook-ads-for-brick-and-mortar-session-1/

    3. Do I need a product page + a course page for each course? How do I link the two?

    4. After the order completion for the course, I tried as a new user, I'm not able to see the course I purchased under My Account - Courses. Why is that? The course shows up in My Account - Orders but not Courses.

    5. How do I setup course contents so registered users can then see modules, videos and complete the course?

    6. I added the bbPress plugin for forums and created a new forum to support attendees of my free Workshop - http://www.academy.socialstrategi.com/index.php/forums/forum/fb-ads-session-i-campbell-library-august-1-2018/. How can now the attendees join this forum? I'd like them to join the forum after they've completed the purchase even if it's FREE.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello there,

    1. 2. 3.Can you tell us what are you trying to achieve with product for the course?

This can not be linked through theme options. Achieving this will require some custom coding, but we are not in a position to accept any custom work, because we primarily need to focus on providing Theme Support to all customers.

You can read more about it items not included in support here:
    http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy#whats-not-included-item-support.

    Thanks for understanding.

Course is in one way product that you're buying through WooCommerce and there is no need to set products for that.

    4. Can you provide us admin credential in private ticket so we can take a look and see what is the issue? Thanks!

    5. You will have to set up curriculum for the course:

Set up lessons you've created and quizzes.  After you set that up, just turn off page transitions in Elated options > General:

    6. User can register to the site and then they can join conversation when the admin starts conversation.

*Just a note, please in the future try not to write more then 2-3 questions regarding one topic and please write one topic per ticket. That way we can keep better track on the question and provide precise answer. Thanks for understanding.

    Best regards,

    Marie

    Thank you.

I was able to setup the Curriculum and lesson.

I want to embed PDFs in my lesson but don't want them to be downloadable. Is that possible?

I tried the PDF Embedder plugin, using which I was able to successfully embed the PDF on my site but users can still download it.

Please let me know if you have a workaround for this. Thanks.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no predefined option for that. You can set Lesson type to Reading (some text), Video and Audio.

I’ll add this suggestion to our dev list for potential new features and suggestions. Thanks for understanding.

For any other issue you are facing please feel free to ask us and we will assist you as soon as possible. I will give my best to help you building your site.

    Thank you,
    Jerry

    Thanks for the info.

What about enabling the BP Bakery PageBuilder for lessons? I don't see the option in settings of the plugin. Is it possible?
