Im having this text "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria." within the default DEMO content import, at the backend all the jobs_listing (the listings) are published.

I am viewing the FULLWITH page.

  • sosepi replied

Finaly I culd import the content.

The problem was a missing plugin: "wp-job-manager-locations", and enabling categories in the Settings area of listing.

The other issue I'm having is that the category's style in the fullscreen home page is not like the DEMO (see attachment).

    Hi there,

Usually issue with "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria." is caused by deleting a Category that was used in the List element. Now, even if you try to edit the element, you won't be able select any Category.

Resolution of this issue is just removing the complete List element and replacing it with a new one.

We are assuming that you have enabled listing categories in here:

    Best regards,

    Marie

Thanks, when I edit a listing the content in the text editor shows code (see attachment), is very difficult to me to edit the content in this way. Is this an error? is a plugin missing?

Thanks another issue is the friendly URI: http://...com/job-type/food-drink/

I would like it to be http://...com/listing-type/food-drink/  because the items are not jobs....

  • sosepi replied

And Other Q: How can I assign a category to a listing?

    Elated replied

    Hello there,

    you are welcome!

1)You should go to Settings>Permalinks and try to edit Job Base for the listings.

2)You can navigate to Listing>Listing Categories and add a new category. The important thing is to select Listing type for that category. Than if you go to listing single and select listing types all the categories for that listing type will appear on the bottom of the page

Please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you!
    Thank You,
    Kind Regards,
    Norah

Thanks a lot, now I can change the permalinks, but there is one permalink I couldn't change:

    http://balmoral-web.com.ar/jobs/

    I need it to be

    http://balmoral-web.com.ar/propiedades/

    Where can I change it?

Another question: Is there any documentation or way to insert a listing via external script? some function or API.

    Hi,

You should go in Elated options > Listing > and set Listing single slug https://www.screencast.com/t/QQlGFtKBECg and Save. Then you should go in Settings > Permalinks  > and press Save again.

We hope that this will help you.

    Best Regards,

    Sasha

    Hello there,

Probably there is a way to do that with some plugin, but we didn't and couldn't tested that and we can not guarantee that this is going to work. Some compatibility issues might occur once in a while and there's nothing we can do about that.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Best regards,

    Marie

Hi, I make the change at Elated options > Listing > and set Listing single, as you can see at the image, and then I update the Settings > Permalinks  but the listing's page still the same (http://balmoral-web.com.ar/jobs/)

    Hello,

It is possible that some caching plugin is causing this issue or something has not been adjusted correctly.

Please try deleting your browser cache and then check if the problem persists. If the problem persist please provide us with login credentials (in Private Reply) and site url, so we can take a closer look.

All custom post types require additional slugs like /portfolio-item/ or /job/ or /listing/.

Custom post types need do be read differently by WordPress than default post type such as blog, because you couldn't have the same name for blog post and portfolio post.

You can, however, change the these slugs to something else, you can usually do that through theme options.
Theme Options > Portfolio or Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

Please note that these need to be unique, and there is no way to remove prefix completely, because of reasons mentioned above, you may only change it to your desire.

    Thank you,
    Jerry
