As you can see on our demo search widget is designed to be Right from logo so you can try to navigate to Appearance>Widgets and use Elated Search form Widget on Right from Logo area to achieve this result:
The search bar styling is off when placed in the menu widget. It should be like the styling that is in the widget area.
