It's not there now because it takes up too much space and I don't want it there, however, I DO want to see the featured image above the title (at the bottom of our home page).
I tried that blog list image option but seems to be not working. As you can see in attached image I used a vertical format image for the blog list image and a landscape image as featured. When I try the website, the home shows in the blog list module the featured image instead the specific blog list image that I uploaded. :(
It seems that there was a little misunderstanding. As a blog list image you should set the same image you used for featured image and then remove the featured image. This way no image should be displayed on single post page, but it would be displayed on blog list.
You can try this out and let us know if it works for you.

You can try with Blog List image instead of featured image >>
This image will be shown within Blog List page but not on Single post page.
