How can i disable things like 'elated proofing gallery' and 'elated team' from my side panel? as i will not be needing them and did not see them separately inside the plugin area.

Can you explain us little bit better this? You want to remove those custom post types? Those custom post types goes with Elated CPT plugin and if you want to remove them you will have to do it in theme files. This would require some custom coding, but we are not in a position to accept any custom work, because we primarily need to focus on providing Theme Support to all customers.
In case you are not familiar with programming, you could look for someone who you can hire for this kind of job at the following link: - http://studio.envato.com
