I would like to file a bug report about Left side menu close button does not work on Portfolio full slider for single item.
Because I need to use this style so I found the problem under it.
When the side menu is being clicked to expand. The close button cannot be clicked because it is under cover by the menu which z-index is much higher. Event changing the z-index of the side menu does not resolve because the click event will not be transversed from upper to lower element. The quick solutions is adding
pointer-events: none
to the .eltdf-page-header element and then add
pointer-events: all
to the .eltdf-position-right element
Then the header menu is still usable while the close button of the menu can also be clicked. Not sure in the long run is it good for your design. Just for reference for any other people meeting the same problem.
We tested this in the latest version of Google Chrome browser, WIN 10.
Please try deleting your browser cache, or access your website from another browser/computer to see if the problem persists.
If the problem persists, please be more specific about it and let us know how we can reproduce this issue on our end (some specific OS or Browser, browser version etc.)

I think you have misunderstood the problem, maybe it is due to my poor presentation.
Let me attach you screen shoot for clarification.
Regarding the layout, there are couple of things we have encountered, let me summarise including the previous problem:
The Left side menu of the portfolio page, opened but cannot click the button to close (the solution that I have mentioned can resolve), tested in OSX Desktop
in iPad Pro, The menu show only blank in menu
in Android(LG5 Android 7), the footer menu is gone, when inspect in the Remote Debugging, it seems that there are error about [Violation] Forced reflow while executing JavaScript.... (I use default settings and import demo to test), I haven't changed anything and activate only Allston required plugins.
When it comes to first issue with button open/close, feel free to include your own CSS for this, we'd send you similar or even the same fix.
Now, if we're talking about our demo website http://allston.elated-themes.com footer is displaying nicely from our side, here're couple of screenshots
Regarding menu not displaying on iPad, this is also working fine from our side, here's a screenshot (sorry about the poor quality, we're having some problems with image sharing)
