Bought the Search and Go template and installed default data but can not edit any pages (drafted in visual composer) as theme came with WP Bakery which doesn't recognize existing content. WordPress 5.0.3
I downloaded the updated plugin and uploaded it to my site, but the editor is still broken. I can't see any changes yet. I've also submitted a private ticket.
In order to enable WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress (formerly Visual Composer) on Different Post Types like Posts or Portfolio Pages.
You need to navigate to Dashboard > WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > choose a role > set Post types to Custom > check the post types where you want a builder to show in.

Please look at the screenshot below in order to see how some sections within portfolio listing page (back-end mode) can be hidden.
2. We have tested this functionality in our demo and the issue is present too. We are so sorry for this, we have forwarded this issue to our dev team and they will try to fix it in some future update.
