In order to enable WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress (formerly Visual Composer) on Different Post Types like Posts or Portfolio Pages.
You need to navigate to Dashboard > WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > choose a role > set Post types to Custom > check the post types where you want a builder to show in.
Unfortunately is not possible to edit the highlighted section because it would require custom coding.
