    Hi


    So the theme that I bought is meant to come with licenses for WP Bakery and Revolutions Slider. Ive received the documentation with the licenses but when I try to import / use the license to activate WP Bakery it does not work.


    I must be honest that I feel i have wasted my a hard earned money on this theme.


    Please advise soonest.

    It still does activate it. I clicked on Active WP Bakery it takes me to the wpbakery site.  Where I have  to loggin and then no license found. I click on import license, it asks me to login to the Theme forest API - which i do then its still does not find the license. 

    Yous said to ignore the Activate WP bakery button but even after all this then the WPbakery IS STILL NOT ACTIVATED.

    Please advise.

    Hello there,

    I apologize for the late reply, we have been getting a lot of messages daily and are trying our best to keep up with every request. I hope you can understand.

    This issue is most likely due to the lacking server resources. In order to fix the issue please increase the MASTER values of the following resources:

    max_execution_time = 300
    memory_limit = 128M
    upload_max_filesize = 128M
    post_max_size = 256M
    max_input_vars = 3000

    If this does not fix the issue still add the following module to WordPress .htaccess file: 

    SubstituteMaxLineLength 10m

    ...after the # END WordPress:

    ...and try editing pages. If the problem persists, replace that line of code with the following code: 

    #WPBakery Timeout fixer - .htaccess
    <ifmodule mod_substitute.c="">
    SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
    LimitRequestBody 9999999
    </ifmodule>

    If the problem still persist, you can try with 50 or 100m.

    Hi,


    So I have tried all of the below and nothing works!!  The problem is activating the license through the API!  IT DOES NOT WORK  !!!!  see screen shots.. this is becoming very frustrating and costing me time and money!

    So I have reinstalled Wordpress and the theme along with the demo data.  the Visual composer is not there when you want to edit existing pages from the demo but seems to be there when add a new page, why is that> ?  see screen shots


    i cant edit existing portfolios with new images or create a new... the upload button doesnt even work. I cant add new images / changes images in existing portfolios.


    Please advise ASAP !!!

    Hello again,

    It would seem that your post_max_size resource is not high enough. Please try to raise it to at least 256M.

    You can check the value at Dashboard > WP-ServerInfo > Display PHP Information. (see image below)

    If this does not fix the issue please send us your ftp access credentials, and make sure we have full root access so that we could inspect the .htaccess file and other theme code in order to pinpoint the issue.

    Hi,

    Welcome to your support management and thanks for choosing Elated theme!

    I checked your website and saw that your theme is outdated. You are using 1.2. version and our development team has released the newer version this April.

    So you need to update your theme. You can update your theme by performing the following steps:

    1. Go to themeforest.net and login at top-right using your Envato account (the same one you use for your Envato Hosted account).
    2. Download your theme from your account profile Downloads page and save it to your desktop.
    3. Unzip the download to find the installable .zip file for your theme.
    4. In WordPress, go to Appearance > Themes and activate TwentySeventeen.
    5. If you do not have the default theme loaded, click Add theme and install/activate it from there. Return to the main Appearance > themes screen.
    6. Click on your theme's image to open the details and click Delete at lower-right.  
    7. This only deletes the theme file, NOT your content, images or pages!
    8. This may take a few minutes. Wait until the image disappears and the process is complete.
    9. Click on Add New at the top, then Upload Theme
    10. Browse to your theme's install walker.zip file and click Open 
    11. Click Install
    12. Wait for the file to upload - this may take several minutes, so do not browse away from the window! The progress is shown in the bottom-left corner of your browser window.
    13. When complete, the theme will unpack and present you with a success message. Click Activate.

    Thank you.... finally it works after the update. 

    So im on a shared server and I cannot keep the master values at the amounts you asked me too. Will this affect anything ?

    I apologize for the belated reply - our reply times have not been as fast as we would have liked due to recent holidays. I hope you understand.

    Those master values we recommend are required for our demo content, because of its robustness. However, considering that you, or any customer is going to use all of this content, and that your personal content is in limits of your current values, you should have no problem. Technically, this will not affect theme functionalities, it's just a matter of memory usage.
