    Hi, i have a big problem.

    Since i upgraded the theme, i have an error 500 on the website and no access to the backoffice.
    Can you help me pls !

    Hello,

    There are five major reasons why these errors occur in WordPress:

    • Incorrect web server configuration
    • Incorrect folder/file permissions
    • Corrupt files or files that contain errors in code
    • PHP memory limits set too low
    • Conflicting third party plugins


    Please note that after installing / activating this theme, you need to Install/activate all required plugins like WP Bakery Page Builder, Elated Core/CPT and Slider Revolution (+Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce if you plan to use shop). 

    Then you can import the demo with our OneClick (Elated Options >> Import) or with native WP importer tool (Tools >> Import >> WordPress) via XML, located in the file you downloaded from ThemeForest website / XML.

    Then you can go to Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage setting >> and then choose desired homepage.

    Before that, please check your server resource settings. Check/increase these MASTER values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.

    max_execution_time = 300
    memory_limit = 128M
    upload_max_filesize = 128M
    post_max_size = 256M
    max_input_vars = 3000

    After you do this, you can try to import the demo or just let us know and we will try to import the demo for you.

    Also, note that when importing a demo onto your site RevSlider slideshow has to be imported separately. To import a RevSlider slideshow from one of our demos please go to your WordPress admin panel Slider Revolution -> Import. Search for some-home-slider-X.zip located in the file you downloaded from Theme Forest / xml export folder and import that demo’s slideshow.

    Hello Vladimir,
    I have no problem of server or wordpress. The site was working well before the update of today. And i have no access to backoffice now.

    I've just checked this on your website and as you can see in the following screenshots it seems like everything looks / works fine and I accessed your back-end without any problems →

    Also, I've noticed that you installed the latest version of Academist theme.

    Please try deleting your browser cache, or access your website from another browser/computer to see if the problem persists.

    Have you already managed to solve this issue ?

    Anyhow, please note that you need to re-install all required plugins after updating the theme (Elated Core, Elated Courses etc.).

    Hi, 

    I had the same "error 500" problem after updating the GIOIA theme. In my case the "quick view" plugin is still crashing the theme, so I had to turn it off. Any solution to that?

    Hello Nikiwis,

    Please submit a new ticket among with your site url and WP-admin credentials and some of our support agents will assist you with that. Thanks for understanding.

    In the meantime, please note check your server php resources. also, it is possible that something was uploaded wrong or something is corrupt with your WP install. Download a fresh copy of the theme and install it.

     As mentioned earlier, please check/increase these MASTER values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.
