    When I go to my posts, and then post it, I'd like to see the image at the top, but not the word "blog" ... I'd like to change that to "news" ... is this possible? How do you accomplish this.

    Hello,

    Just go to your wp-admin dashboard and then navigate to Settings → Reading →

    and then unselect chosen Posts page like we did at the screenshot above. 

    After that the name of that page will be shown within Title area.

    I did as you said ... and no change on my post page, the word "Blog" still appears. please see the attached. I appreciate you getting back to me.
