1. In order to enable WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress (formerly Visual Composer) on Different Post Types like Posts or Portfolio Pages.
You need to navigate to Dashboard > WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > choose a role > set Post types to Custom > check the post types where you want a builder to show in.
2. Visual Composer (WP Bakery PB) and Rev Slider come with our theme as bundled plugin via extended licence we have bought. More about it can be found in this article https://elated.ticksy.com/article/10866/ and also there is another useful link on Envato about bundled plugins in that article.
So, VC and Rev Slider will work fine for you, just ignore messages and warning about activation of it.
