Unfortunately I was unable to log into your admin panel with the credentials you've provided in one of your earlier tickets.

Anyway, I've managed to notice that you do use latest theme version, which is 1.5 as you can check in our theme's change log.

However, some of the plugins you are using are outdated. Especially Elated Core plugin (latest 1.2) and WPBakery Page Builder (5.7):

As you can see in the image above, your WPBakery's version is 5.5.2 (js-comp-ver) and Elated Core plugin is 1.0.1 (eltd-core).

I'd suggest that you try updating these plugins first, and if it doesn't fix the issue, than you should provide us working credentials in private reply and we will take a closer look.

Thanks for writing in.

In order to install the latest versions of the plugins if you already have the new version of the theme, you will have to deactivate and delete these plugins (WPBakery and Elated Core) and then reinstall them from your Dashboard. You should see a notice telling you that you are missing required plugins once you delete them, and it will prompt you to install them.

This way, the latest versions which are packed with the theme will be installed instead of the old ones.

If you're installing your new instance of the theme on another website for the first time, then you should automatically have all the latest plugin versions which are compatible.

Note that this does not necessarily mean that these are the latest versions of the plugins themselves, as there have been lots of new releases and we are working to make all our themes compatible as quickly as we can. In this specific case, Ambient still hasn't been updated to match WPBakery and Slider Revolution, so please be patient until we update the theme when you will get the latest versions of these plugins.

1- The version of WP Bakery (5.7) that is packed with the theme is the one that we have rigorously tested for compatibility as you can see on the theme's webpage here:

If you'd like you can install the newest version of the plugin by using the file here:

However, we have not yet fully tested it's compatibility with our theme. My recommendation would be for you to wait for us to include the newest version with one of our future updates by monitoring the Change Log from the first link above.

2- As per the errors you encountered after updating the core plugins please make sure you follow these steps for updating all files so that the errors can be resolved:

Pre-Step: Deactivate and Delete all bundled plugins that come with the theme, especially the Core(CPT) plugin. This way they will be updated along with the theme as well.

1. Download latest All files & documentation file from ThemeForest (your Downloads page)
2. Extract it and locate ambient.zip and ambient-child.zip
3. In you admin panel navigate to Appearance > Themes and activate one of the default themes
4. Once active delete both the parent and child ambient themes
5. Upload the parent and child themes with the zip files from step 2
6. After uploading the theme files activate the parent theme and navigate to Theme Options > General and without changing anything simply save the settings.
