The errors you are experiencing are server related.
Please try to set the client_max_body_size to 0 in order to disable that check entirely and make sure that it is not the cause of the issue.
Once you have done this my recommendation would be for you to backup the website and database if you have made any changes and reset the database using the plugin attached below.
After this you could try the demo import feature once again, and if that doesn't work you could also use the WordPress Import feature at Tools > Import > WordPress Import, and use the vino-export.xml file that you have received within the theme files you downloaded from ThemeForest.

We did some research and this isn't a theme related issue, it's related to your network setup.
