As i can see perhaps you didn't import a demo content with attachments you can import demo once more in order to get all images with theme. Just have to select this button:

But this is optional, if you don't want you can add your own photo like this:

In order to upload images for portfolio items you have to create Portfolio items:

And upload your photo in Featured Image (This is on the bottom of you portfolio item page)

Masonory is a bit specific, you can try to change these options in order to make it to look better:

Also, you can try to change image size right there:

Masonory has his own template which crop and zoom pictures so you have to customize your photos in order to make it looks good. You can install in local demo with  photos that we used in our theme so you can see how it works on our side.

Also you can providing us with login credentials (in Private Reply) and site url, so we can take a closer look?

Hello Arun,

You can change how the image is displayed on Masonry Portfolio lists under the Elated Portfolio Settings. For example:

Your first portfolio is set to Large Width/Height. So is the portfolio item bellow. Only the second portfolio item is set to Large Height.
