    I have installed the Tomas & Daisy theme but when I go to activate it, I receive this error message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/content/t/h/e/theyentareport/html/wp/wp-content/themes/tomasdaisy/framework/lib/eltd.layout.inc on line 2852

    Please advise.

    Hi Dave,

    this error means that your php version is low, and that\'s why this is happening.

    Use at least PHP 5.4.x or greater in order to process PHP code faster, and to fix older version bugs.

    Note that WordPress is now recommending PHP 5.6 or greater https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
