I have the same question. Altering the logo height area seems to only increase the padding surrounding the logo, but doesn't allow the logo itself to get larger.
Although my logo is uploaded at 275 px, it's being reduced automatically to about 150px.
I'm unsure if it has to do with the container height since the demo logo was longer and my logo is a little taller/stacked?
theme has inbuilt option for changing logo size to set it to be retina ready. So, just upload image that has height twice larger than you want it to be displayed on your website.
