    I followed the PDF instructions:

    1. Login to your WordPress admin panel
    2. Navigate to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme
    3. Click on Choose File and select allure.zip
    4. Click on Install Now

    And this error came up and my site stopped working.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home4/ab1866/public_html/kinami/wp-content/themes/allure/framework/lib/eltd.layout.inc on line 2957

    How can i fix this issue?

    Hi Nathan,

    I was having the same problem - it was because the version of PHP we had on our server needed updating.

    If you update your php version to 5.5 of later (you can do this through your hosting management tools - e.g. for GoDaddy: https://uk.godaddy.com/help/view-or-change-your-php-version-3937/).

    That should fix it (did the trick for us and several others in the forums with the same problem).

    Nathan, this is just solution we would provide. All you have to do is to contact your hosting provider to increase php version to 5.5 or later.
