It seems that this option really doesn't work :( We've proceeded this to Dev team to be fixed for next theme update. In meantime, you can use this code below to disable that bottom border:

Hello.
Looks like option for removing bottom border for top bar doesn't work Same for menu area top/bottom border.
I have "No" set for them, and borders are still visible on page.

After update border for top bar and menu still can't be disabled.
