The H2 and H6 tags that I have added to the first two lines of the blog post pull through in the actual post page (attached: post page.png), but they do not pull through to the snippet on the home page (attached -homepagepng).
On your blog page, this is the excerpt and it do not use html tags, this should be some short post description and actual post content is visible only on actual single post page.
You can enable excerpt in screen options and than add excerpt for each post and that excerpt will be shown on blog page instead of content.
