I wanted to ask how can I make translations of this web site? For me it is important to have both English and Norwegian versions, and it seems POLYLANG flags do not appear in the menu unfortunately.
I have also noticed language options in the upper menu. Are those editable?
I do not want to pay for WPML since POLYLANG does all what it does, just wanted to ask if the flag icons from polylang will apear in search and go main menu in home page or not?
Also as I have mentioned I do not understand how to edit the upper menu - how it works and other sections.
I've translated the theme using Poedit (available for Windows, Mac and Unix), it's very easy. Just open the English file available in the ......../languages folder from the theme and upload the translated one to the same place.
It seems that some strings are not found in the theme's language file, in those cases you'll have to follow the same method but translating the language file from the theme's plugins.
About the menu yes, it's possible to edit it as it's html, you'll find it in the Appearance -- Widgets section.
