For the "top bar icons change color" you have to look in the widget area. I dont remember the widgets name but if you open the "main menu" or others you will see the shortcode for the links for the top bar and you will see the color codes there. It's a retarded way but after looking around for a long time thats what I found because the admin panel doesnt change those icons and the admin dashboard icons also so thats what Im looking for myself.
Hope this helps in some way because support moves very slow here and if they do help on this then they can explain better then I did.

When I change global colour, the number if items in an area isn't updating. Image attached.
Also the icons in the top bar are not changing colour.

You can change color of numbers using this custom css code, just set desired color
For the top bar widgets you can change changing colors in social widget and for right top bar inside the shortcode as Chris described.
