    Hi,

    Does anyone know how to add a full width image gallery to a new page with the Kreate theme?

    I want it like the gallery in the Portfolio list, but when I try to add a new Portfolio, it pulls up the same images from the original one.

    And when I try it with the Image Gallery block in VC, the images upload, but appear blank on the page.

    Thanks so much for any help!

    Hello,

    If you need to Image Gallery VC element and and fill width template page http://screencast.com/t/BfNU6f7Lqt as well as to set row to be full width http://screencast.com/t/LGD2JDB6OW.

    When you use Portfolio list VC elemens, it shows featured items of single portfolio posts So in order to display your own images, you should create new portfolio single items, with new featured images.

    For the last question, could you send us your WP credentials, so that we can inspect your issue closer?

    Thanks

    Hey Guys,

    I feel so badly sending all these notes, but somehow, some way, I'm going to get these darn image galleries to work

    Here are my WP credentials, so you can check things out —

    http://rebelcreate.com/wp-admin/

    I also added screen shots showing the 3 issues.

    1. Capabilities page — can't get the 2 flex sliders to be the same size even though every single photo is sized the same. And can only add 5 images. It won't let me add any more than that.

    2. Team/New page — Portfolio shows up either blank or with the first 6 images from the original portfolio on the home page instead of the 6 images I last uploaded and suspect it's because I have to set them each as a featured image and renumber them. Is that right? If so, I do make sure the images I want actually get assigned to the gallery? It only asks how many images I want in the portfolio, not which ones.

    3. When I set up regular image gallery from the VC, it either shows up blank or vertically aligned. Is there any way to have them horizontal in a number of rows, side by side?

    3. How do I remove the scroll arrows from some of the Rev slides?

    4. How do I link the actual pages and menu?

    Thank you sooooooo much! You will actually save my summer and the site, if you could help me through these last things.

    Hello here.

    1) Could you explain me here precisely, where you tried to set  this?

    2) Yes, you have to set featured images, and it will be display in portfolio list. I have explained in other ticket how you can adjust which portfolio featured image you need to be shown in portfolio list.

    3)   Check test page I have create http://screencast.com/t/CqBp6PqqIQ, if you need that. Let me know if you need some other thing.

    4) Could you send me screenshot of  arrows you need to remove and I will send you custom css code.?

    5) Go to Appearance > Menus and set desired page link and menu label here http://screencast.com/t/xBJvLUukpyUB or mark  desired page here http://screencast.com/t/jj8qSewz9

    Thanks

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks a lot. I know it's absolutely ridiculous that I needed that much direction for such a little thing, but really appreciate all your help.

    The entire site is almost done and everyone loves the theme. It totally rocks!

    There are just 2 more things that I can't figure out, which are really simple too —

    1. I can't figure out how to center a lot of the arrows/buttons. Even when I set them to be centered, they stay aligned left. So anyone quick solution for that would be great.

    2. The same with 2 of the icons. I placed them above text in a 2 column box, but can't get them to center above the text either.

    3. And lastly the columns in the footer.  I removed 2 of the social media items in the 6 column widget you set up and reset it at 4 columns. But can't figure out how to remove the 2 columns, so the 4 remaining ones are centered.

    I attached a screen shot so you can see how the arrows and icons are aligned left and the footer columns.

    Thanks so much and I promise I won't keep bugging you about these stupid little things!

    Hey Guys,

    We want to remove the scroll arrows on all the pages except the Home Page.

    So 4 pages — About Rebel, Capabilities, Team/New, and Contact/New.

    I attached a screen shot of each one.

    Thanks, again!

    Hey Guys,

    We crammed all night to get the site finished, and just have one more question (I promise).

    We want to make some of the content on the Home Page full width, but can't get the setting to work.

    When we go into each of the rows and change it from "Grid" to "Full Width" nothing happens.

    We were able to easily do it on all the other pages, but can't get any of the rows to change on the Home Page, even when we create a new row.

    Is there some magic button for that? We tried everything we could, but can't get any of them to change — yet could on all the other pages, as you can see in the screen shots.

    Thanks!

    Denise

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    Hope you had a great weekend and disregard the last note about the full width. We just went ahead and created an entirely new home page and got it all worked out.

    ** But still need to know how to get all the buttons centered. We set them as arrows, but they all keep aligning left.

    ** The alignment on the testimonial block is off too. One of the circles with the scroll arrow keeps dropping down. We tried reducing the text and everything else, but it still won't align (see screen shot).

    ** Still need to know how to remove the scroll arrows on 4 of the rev sliders as well. You said it required css and we sent you the page titles and screen shots last week, showing which ones.

    ** And we still can't get the top footer centered either. We changed the widget from 6 columns to 4, but the 4 remaining ones won't center. Sent a screenshot last week and attached one again.

    ** And lastly, how do we add an email address and phone number in the content bottom? We set for 3 columns, but was only able to add content to one of them (see screen shot).

    Thanks so much. Everything else works great, but just need help with these last little things.

    Hi Denise,

    -Seems like you have managed to make the testimonial arrow align correctly, that's great http://screencast.com/t/aOJ82OTR

    -For your arrow alignment you just need to set the row alignment to center and everything should be ok, we have set it on the 2 rows on the front page and now its ok http://screencast.com/t/8G3HySqD014F

    -For you to remove the slider scroll arrows on all of the pages except the home just use the code listed below and paste it inside the Elated options/General/Custom css filed

    body:not(.home) .rev_slider .tparrows{
        display: none!important;
    }

    -For your footer alignment, as I can see your using 4 Footer top columns with only 3 widgets areas inside it and this is why you're having this issue. You could consider using settings like in the screenshot http://screencast.com/t/AKjbtMpn and everything should be ok. Or you can paste the code listed below to Elated Options/General/Custom css field

    footer .eltd-four-columns .eltd-column{
        width: 33%;
    }

    -If you have set number of Footer Bottom columns to 3 http://screencast.com/t/PHIpMZ1Ey then just navigate yourself to Appearance/Widgets and use these 3 footer areas http://screencast.com/t/9RUGskHdDtOX

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!

    You guys are seriously the best. Thanks so much. That all worked brilliantly and really appreciate the help.

    So it's all done, except I just realized we can only add 5 images to the slider gallery at the bottom of the Capabilities page.

    We've tried adding more a ton of times, but can only upload 5 max.

    Did we miss some setting or is there some magic trick for that too? We need to add at least 4 more, but can't figure out how to do it.

    Thanks so much, again, for all the help. You guys totally rock!

    Hey Guys,

    How do we connect our Social Media pages to the widgets in the Footer? We need to connect Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and can't find where to add the links.

    Thanks!

    Denise

  • denise wheeler replied

    Thanks, again, for the help with everything. It all worked perfectly, except the columns in the footer.

    We get that we have 3 columns with the social icons, after removing the other 3 you had set up.

    But the problem is that the info is in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th columns.

    So when we set it for 3 columns, only 2 of the icons show up because it's reading it numerically and the first column is blank.

    Thus we need to know how to reconfigure that. We tried to reinsert the text (putting the 2nd column text in the 1st column), but when we click it on there isn't anywhere to add the text.

    Thanks!

    Hi Denise,

    Always glad when we're able to help :)

    -To change/add widgets in desired widget areas you just need to drag and drop them to desired place, please refer to th screenshot http://screencast.com/t/jP7y2FCqpu7 Now you will be able to move/create the content in the way that you want.

    -To connect the social media to the footer, you just need to add Elated social icon widget to desired social area and make desired settings inside of it http://screencast.com/t/hIgT9XBTLy2

    -As for your last question, regarding the gallery, there is no limit to number of images that you can add inside the gallery. Your problem seems to be connected to low resources as you can see in the screenshot http://screencast.com/t/5WaoBheq1RFV

    Could you please try to increase these values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.

    max_execution_time = 300
    memory_limit = 96M
    upload_max_filesize = 128M
    post_max_size = 128M

    This should fix your issue :)

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    A thousand thank you's again. Those screen shots help so much and I really appreciate it.

    Just one more thing:

    The sample blog posts you have loaded are just dummy articles that are done as if you just wrote each post.

    But how do you replace them with actual articles from other sources?

    We don't want to write any blog posts. We just want to share content from other sources and can't find a way to do it.

    On Squarespace I would just add a link and the article would show up with the related image and I would then just excerpt it.

    Can we do the same with your template on Wordpress? If so, how?

    Thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    We found just one small technical glitch.

    When you go to the Contact page, the content disappears from the rev slider after you scroll down.

    So the page is blank after you scroll while all the other pages, the content stays.

    Is there some code we need to fix that? The edit page is "Contact/New"

    Hey Guys,

    I am honestly so sorry for sending another note, but my business partner just called and said there are a few issues with  the site scaling down on other devices.

    *** When he views it on his mobile, the hamburger menu disappears, after he scrolls down. So there isn't any way to access the other pages on the mobile.

    Is there some setting we need to tweak for that or something else we need to do?

    **** When viewed on the large desktop, everything looks great. But when you view it on a laptop, all the text stretches beyond the original placement and no longer aligned.

    Is there an easy fix for that or something we need to add or do?

    A thousand thanks again!

    Elated replied

    Hi Denise,

    Don't worry, that is why we're here :)

    -The mobile menu issue is related to header type which you have set inside the Elated Options/Header (we have set it up for you so that hamburger menu would be available all the time)

    -The second issue regarding the text alignment can be solved by changing the text size on Smaller screen devices so that everything can fit, inside the Elated Options/Fonts http://screencast.com/t/wBg3Mit51r

    -The rev slider issue we were able to solve by changing the slider to Hero Slider type (which is recommended to use when you're using the single slide slider ) http://screencast.com/t/YamIYwSXj8

    -As for you sharing question, it can be done only if the website from which you would like to share is providing you some code that you can embed inside some of your pages, inside the raw html shortcode (also have in mind, that if that sort of code exists, it will not be affected by our theme style and it will have it's own styling).

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    Hope you had a great weekend!

    We're trying to clean up the last of the things on the site and still have a couple of things that stand out.

    1. The alignment on the Testimonial Bar is still messed up. We had it working last week and now the scroll circle is dropping down again on the "About" page. (see screen shot)

    2. Some of the images in the Portfolio Gallery come out really small on some of the pages and larger on others. When you click the images in the Portfolio Gallery on the Home page, it takes you to page with a case study for that particular project. Yet when you click to those pages, some of the images are really small with the text beneath it, while others are larger with the text to the side of it. And then some show up in a slider.

    The images are all sized the same, so is there any way to get the pages and images all uniform? (see screen shot)

    3. And lastly, we changed out all the demo blog posts with our own, but can't figure out how to change the excerpt copy that shows up in the post on the Home page. We removed all the copy from the actual posts, but can't find where to remove the excerpts.

    Thanks so much, and can't say enough how much we love the theme. Everyone has been raving about it!

    Denise

  • denise wheeler replied

    Sorry. Here's the screen shot for the blog post question.

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    You'll be glad to know we figured out how to get all the portfolio pages uniform. So we don't need any help with that.  We just need to know —

    1. How to get the testimonial bar aligned on the "About" page since it keeps messing up.

    2. How to change the content in the blog posts on the Home Page. Not the actual blog post content, but the content that you see in the section that says "Latest From Our Blog". I can see it in the widgets, but how do we change out each one?

    3. How do we remove some of the social icons that are right before the comments section on the blog pages?

    Thanks so much!

    1) Not quite sure what's wrong with the testimonials on About page, because everything seems ok from our end http://screencast.com/t/t6rskC9WT0g6  Could you please try to delete your browser cache and see if the problem persists.

    2) By using the blog list short code you can't actually select which post you want to show, you can only select how do you want to sort them and by which criteria.

    3) You just need to navigate to Elated Options/Social Networks and turn off the shares that you don't want to display, please refer to the screenshot for detailed explanation http://screencast.com/t/fz4ly49Iy

    That's great. Thanks so much!  But a little confused about your second answer.

    By using the blog list short code, are you saying that we can't change the sample text you put in?

    We changed the titles and content for the actual blog posts, but can't find where to change the sample content in the blog lists.

    So a little confused cause your answer didn't relate to that.

    Hey Guys,

    Hope you had a great weekend!

    We're having some major problems with the resizing on the mobile and have spent days trying to sort them out.

    All the text isn't showing up on the rev sliders, at the top of each page. i attached a screen shot of each one, so you can see how the text is missing.

    1. The slider at the top of the Home page doesn't show any of the text on the mobile, only the image.

    2. The slider at the top of the Capabilities page just says "Services" with "our" squeezed in alongside it, instead of on top of it.

    3. The slider at the top of the Team page only says "Our" — but should say "Our Team" with "behind the rebels" above it.

    4. The text on the slider at the top of the Contact page is all jumbled together.

    5.  And the text at the bottom of 2 of the pages (Home and Capabilities) doesn't show up either, only the arrows.

    We've also tried to sort out the re-sizing issue with a lot of the copy throughout the site, but can't get that worked out either. As you can see from the 2 other screen shots I attached, it shows up as one long chunk of copy instead of in blocks.

    You had said we could fix it by changing the mobile font sizes in the Elated Options, but that doesn't work because it's a padding issue. So reducing the font size only makes the text smaller, but it still shows up as one long stretch of text on the mobile.

    We need to get the site out to a number of clients, but can't with it looking so poorly on the mobile and have been trying for days to resolve it.

    Is there any way to get it all straightened out?  The alignment is really bad when viewed on a laptop too. A lot of the columns are uneven and/or stretch way beyond the designated areas, so we can't show the site that way.

    Thanks so much with any help with this!

    Denise

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks so much. I really appreciate it!

    But where do I add the code you sent for the Home and Capabilities pages?

    Also —

    1.   The same thing is happening with the Team page when you view it on mobile. All the text shows up in one long chunk, as you can see in the screen shots I attached.

    2. The text is also missing at the end of the Home page and Capabilities page. There is just a big blank space with the arrows, but no text. Both are set with "Bottom to Top" animation, which shows up on the other pages but not these, as you can see from the screen shots.

    Do I need code for that too or something else?

    Thanks so much!

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    I changed all the slider mobile settings, but 3 of them still aren't coming out right.

    1. The Home page slider doesn't show anything except the image even though the text is aligned perfectly in the settings, as you can see from the screen shot. But when you view it on mobile the text still doesn't show up.

    2. And the text still shows up jumbled on the Contact page slider even though it's aligned perfectly in the settings, as you can see in the screen shot. And the entire heading vanishes as soon as it loads as well.

    3.  I changed the settings for the Team page slider and the text that was missing before now shows up above "Our Team".  But when you view it on mobile the word "Team" is still missing, as you can see from the screen shots.

    Is there any way we can get all this straightened out? We have to get the site live, but can't do it with so much off.

    Thanks so much!

    Hey Guys,

    Sorry. I just wanted to let you know that I remembered where to put the code. So you don't need to send that.

    Thanks!

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    Sorry for sending all these notes, but the code you sent took care of the alignment issue for the Capabilities page on the mobile, but messed up everything when you view it on the larger screen.

    We spent a lot of time building the page and now all the copy is stretched out from one end to the other and looks like crap.

    And the Contact page is all messed up too.

    The text on the slider vanishes after it loads (on both mobile and desktop) and when you scroll down, all the text below it is aligned way to the right and you can't read it.

    We have to get this worked out cause we've spent so much time trying to fix everything and thought the theme was fully responsive.

    So just let us know what we can do cause we keep ending up with more problems instead of less.

    Thanks so much!

    Denise

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    Here's a more concise list of all the problems since I've sent so many. But hopefully this will help more cause we have so many clients waiting for the site and can't keep putting them off.

    1. The code you sent to fix the padding issues for the Home page and Capabilities page, works when you view it on the mobile. But when you view it on the desktop, it makes all the copy on the Capabilities page stretch out across the page.

                   ** so we need to know how to make it work on all devices and align the way we have it.

    2.  The Team page has the same padding issues. When you view it on a desktop, all the text looks great. But when you view it on a mobile, the text shows up in long narrow chunks. And reducing the font size doesn't work cause it's a padding issue.

                  ** so we need to know how to fix it so it looks the same on all devices, the way we have it.

    3.  The text at the bottom of the Home page and Capabilities page doesn't show up on the mobile. Only the arrows show up. The code you sent fixes that, but we can't use it since it messes up everything else when viewed on a desktop.

                  ** so we need to know how to get that text to appear on the mobile without messing up anything else.

    4. All the text beneath the slider on the Contact page is aligned to the far right and you can't read it.

                  ** so we need to know how to fix that so it's properly aligned and readable on the mobile.

    5. When you view the Testimonial bar on the mobile, there's a huge blank gap that comes right after it, even though there isn't one when you view it on the desktop. And you can't see the navigation arrows either on the mobile. Just a straight line across.

                 ** so need to know how to remove that big gap and get the navigation arrows to appear.

    I already sent a ton of screen shots, but attached some more with the items side by side, so you can better see the issues between the desktop and mobile views.

    I know it's a huge pain, but we're on our 2nd week of trying to fix all this, so please, please, please tell us how we can get everything straightened out. We've lost so much time dealing with all this resizing stuff that we thought was automatically built into the theme. On top of all the time to send all these notes and screenshots, which I'm sure you're tired of too.

    Thanks so much. Truly!

    Hi Denise,

    Ticket #1

    1, 2) The code listed below should fix the issue on the team page as well as on the most of other pages

    @media only screen and (max-width: 480px){
        .wpb_wrapper .wpb_text_column{
            margin: 0 auto!important;
        }
    }

    Ticket #2

    1) The text was there, but the timing of it was wrong, you just needed to set the start of the title animation to the beginning http://screencast.com/t/KP06dqws8yK

    2) Same goes for the second question, we have just extended the duration of your title animation and now its ok

    3) Try changing the duration of the part which contains the missing text and everything should be ok

    Ticket #3, 4

    Use the code we have sent you in first ticket and everything should work ok

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    You are the best! That all worked perfectly and everything all set now on the mobile. Thank you so much!

    We just have a few of the same padding issues with the laptop, if you have some code or a fix for that too.

    I attached some screen shots, showing where the issues are, but basically this:

    1. Some of the text on the Home page is stretched beyond the images when viewed on a laptop. Which is the same kind of padding issue that we had with the mobile.

    2. The same on the Team page. The text stretches way beyond the images instead of being evenly lined up like it is on the desktop and mobile.

    3. And the same with the Capabilities page. The 3 columns at the top of the page aren't lined up evenly when viewed on the laptop and the text shows up in those long narrow chunks again.

    If we can get this fixed, then we can launch the site. So fingers crossed that you have some code or solution.

    A thousand thanks again!

    Hey Guys,

    We want to set up a blog page and have a couple of questions:

    1. Is there any way of turning off the blog slider, so you can just scroll through it manually instead of having it scroll automatically?

    2. Is there any way to add a sidebar to the Blog List page?

    3. We haven't been able to figure out how to set up the blog posts vertically instead of side by side columns. Is it possible to do a vertical blog list? When we set it to only one column, the posts are really large.

    4. Is there any way to change the color of the little squares at the top of each blog post, the ones that have a link icon etc.? They're currently a bluish green color and wondering if we can change them to black?

    5. We want to use a background image that has a custom page title on it, which we can easily upload. But the actual page title shows up as well. Is there any way to hide it so it doesn't show on the page but can still be used for the menu?

    I attached a screen shot of the kind of layout we want, if there is any way to set up a blog page like it.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Denise,

    Ticket #1

    1,2,3) This is happening because you have added some empty spaces on your page that are pushing the content down on smaller screen displays http://screencast.com/t/BSkbitW6 Also you should consider setting the font size for smaller screens to a smaller one http://screencast.com/t/Glgi8ARdbbC

    Ticket #2

    1) You can change this by editing some theme code. Please navigate to this file: ...\wp-content\themes\kreate\assets\js\blog.js And here is the screenshot that shows what you need to change in this function function eltdInitBlogSlider{ : http://screencast.com/t/9fFD0ip1j And then, you will need to use this tool http://jscompress.com/ where the input will be all code from module.js file and result of compression you will need to paste to wp-content\themes\kreate\assets\js\blog.min.js file instead of the code you find there.

    2) Yes there is, you just need to navigate yourself to Elated Options/Blog and set the desired layout http://screencast.com/t/0pM4yqFwmq

    3) The only other solution we can recommend is using the Image in box type of blog list shortcode http://screencast.com/t/kMrHTE9C

    4)  You can do this by pasting the code inside the Elated Options/General/Custom css field

    .eltd-blog-list-holder.eltd-boxes .eltd-post-mark{
        background: black!important;
    }

    5) You should just use the code listed below

    .eltd-title-holder {
        display: none!important;
    }

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can for you, thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks so much. All the blog solutions worked perfectly, so thanks again!

    But all the issues from Ticket #1 are still there when you view the site on a laptop.

    I reduced the paragraph font size, like you said, from 18px to 10px, but it didn't change anything. All the text is still stretched out and running way beyond all the images.

    Everything lines up perfectly on the desktop and mobile, so it should line up just as well on a laptop but doesn't. No matter how much I reduce the font size, it still comes out in long narrow chunks, which has to be a padding issue.

    And it's not just a few sections, but the entire site on the laptop.

     I also removed the empty spaces in that section on the Home page, which you said was pushing the content down. But as you can see from the screen shot, that only made it worse.  The large blank space above it is still there and the 3 images with text are no longer evenly aligned.

    The last section of text on both the Capabilities page and Team page look completely different on the laptop than on the desktop and mobile. The first one is squished together and the other one is stretched out yet should be evenly centered.

    So there has to be a solution cause we've been at it for over a week now and have a lot people waiting to see the site.

    You sent me some code that fixed the exact same issues on the mobile. So would some similar code work for the laptop?

    Thanks so much — and the first screen shot shows how that section on the Home page looks after I removed the empty spaces and the others show how reducing the font size didn't chagne anything.

    Hey Guys,

    Is there any way to link the blog excerpts to the actual article?

    All the posts I set up are articles from different web sites, but I can't find a way to link to them directly.

    Right now when you click them, it takes you to another page with just the title and you have to click it again in order to get to the actual article.

    I've never seen a blog that doesn't link directly, so let me know if you can that with the theme and how.

    Thanks!

    Denise

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    I figured out how to link to the articles directly, so don't need any help with that.

    But still at a complete standstill with the resizing issues on the laptop. Even our tech guys can't get it to work. So there has to be a better solution than just reducing the font sizes because that doesn't resolve the margin/padding issues.

    Also, is there any way to hide the author name on the blog posts and just have the arrow that says "more"?

    Thanks!

    Hi Denise,

    Ticket #1

    We inspected the issues with the alignment that you're having again, and we came to the same conclusion as last time

    http://screencast.com/t/OUmM7nLT

    http://screencast.com/t/ruprphqQ7Cdi

    Here is the code that removes the empty spaces only on smaller screens and removes the "our team" item padding and also makes some padding adjustments on capabilities page

    .vc_custom_1469397977395{
        padding-top: 0!important;
    }

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1500px){
        .home .vc_empty_space, .page-id-926 .vc_empty_space{
            display: none
        }
        .home .vc_custom_1470632872541{
            margin: 0!important;
        }
        .page-id-863 .wpb_text_column{
            margin: 0 10px!important;
        }
    }

    Here is also some screenshot with the layout recommendations http://screencast.com/t/itORNS86QOn You should also change the layout on the "page", change the font sizes on smaller screens, reduce the content etc.

    Ticket#2

    To remove the author name and picture and to center the read more arrow use the following code

    .eltd-blog-list-holder.eltd-boxes .eltd-item-bottom-holder-inner .eltd-item-btm-left-holder{
        display: none!important;
    }

    .eltd-blog-list-holder.eltd-boxes .eltd-item-bottom-holder-inner .eltd-item-btn-right-holder{
        text-align: center!important;
    }

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks so much. I really appreciate it!

    However, if we remove all the empty spaces, like you said, then it throws off everything when you view it on a desktop and mobile.

    So redoing the layout to work on a laptop is great, but it creates the same problems on the other devices.

    Plus, the header sizes are the default ones that came with the template. We didn't change any of those, only the paragraph font size.  So, if you're saying the header sizes are too big for the layout, then why was the theme created with them?

    I'll try redoing it, the way you suggested, but I've done enough sites to know how things work and have used far bigger font sizes that resized perfectly on every device.

    But can you look at the attached screen shot and confirm that that's where we change the responsive sizes? We did a bunch of tests that way and nothing changed, even when we set it at 8px, which is minute.

    So we just want to make sure that's the way to do it >>>> Elated Options >>>>> Fonts >>>>> Responsive Tablet/Paragraph/Headings.

    Is that right, or are we missing something because nothing changes when we do it there.

    Thanks!

    Denise

  • denise wheeler replied

    Hey Guys,

    The code you sent to remove the author's name on the blog worked great, so thanks!

    But the code for the padding and empty spaces created even more problems.

    I don't even know what to say at this point, but check out the screen shots and let me know what to do because we can't keep going through this.

    I've done everything I possibly can except go into the stylesheet and change all the media queries. But just check the screen shots cause there are even more padding and spacing issues now.

    Thanks so much and hope to hear back from you cause we are really screwed now.

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. The code fixed a few of the problems, but not all of them, and actually created a few more issues.

    I can see that you set the home font size @ 16px, but that only altered the home page.

    The rest of the site is now sporadically set, with some of the sections showing up as 16px and other sections at the previous 18px.

    And the code you sent for the Capabilities page — .page-id-863 — didn't fix anything on the laptop view. All the text is still stretched in long narrow chunks with big padding gaps.

    I'll try to rework your code, but really disappointed that we've had to rework so much and that the theme isn't better responsive.

    Which has nothing to do with the layout or content. We have no large blocks of text anywhere and basic headings on every page without any forms etc.

    So it's hardly a complex site and really disappointed that the theme can't responsively handle a pretty basic scale down and that we've had to spend so much time and money trying to get it to work.

    Thanks, again, though.

    Denise

    Hi Denise,

    Sorry for the late response!

    We've sent you a code to fix the issues that you have sent us. If you would like to change to font size on all of the elements, on all of the pages to 16px just use the following code (you can also modify the values for every heading on smaller resolutions screens)

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1300px){

        p{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
        h1{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
        h2{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
        h3{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
        h4{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
        h5{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
        h6{
            font-size: 16px!important;
        }
    }

    Here is the code that will set the item in the Capability page

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1300px){
        .page-id-863  .wpb_start_animation.wpb_bottom-to-top{
            margin: 0 20px!important;
        }
    }

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, thanks!
