Is there a way to show the gallery post on main page, with only one image, no slider capabilities, and then when the post is "elated" by clicking with the mouse left button, still in main page, get the gallery/slider to work, something like a regular post, with a gallery inserted?
I´m just exploring posibilities to avoid loading too many images on main page, to improve speed...
You can create a standard post type, in which you will set the the featured image, desired text content and add a gallery shortcode so that when you click on the post you will get the desired effect.

Ok, understood the effect on maximized post view.
But if it´s a standard post, on mainpage, the image won´t occupy the whole tile, but share space with post title, right?
