Hi, I am trying to use the "blog list" Visual composer element, but can't manage to.
Whenever I try to use it on my homepage, I don't see any featured image. If I go to the single post's URL, the featured image is set and visible....but the home page won't show it. I doublechecked and the image is not even inside the HTML. Even disabling all of the plugins and re-uploading the theme...doesn't work. Apparently the theme is not reading the featured image correctly...any help?
I see your issue now. I've tested on our local and live and I can not replicate this issue. Try to deactivate all 3rd party plugins, maybe some of them caused your issue.

ok this is weird!
It only happens when PREVIEWING the home page (edit page -> preview), but if i see the actual page, it works.
any explanation?

Could you please try deleting your browser cache and see if the issue still persists.

What I meant is not about
* the featured image IN THE BACKEND
* the single post 's featured image
