    Hello

I'm trying to use the Google Maps widget in my content and it's not working correctly.   Inspecting the console shows the following errors:

"This service requires an API key.  For more information on authentication and Google Maps Javascript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key"

I looked through the settings page in the Elated Options section of the theme but there doesn't seem to be a spot to set my key.

Can you point me to where I can set the key through the UI?

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hello,

The google changed the api for its maps and this is why you're experiencing this issue.

First you will need to create your own API key as described here: https://www.latecnosfera.com/2016/06/google-maps-api-error-missing-keymap-error-solved.html

After that you can just use this plugin to insert the API key to the places where the key is needed https://wordpress.org/plugins/api-key-for-google-maps/

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with, thanks!
